    A Spanish Galleon and the Beach Boys Visit the Eastern Shore

    Mondays and Tuesdays thru Sept. 4 / Fireworks at the Beach near N. Division St., Ocean City. Show begins at approximately 10:30 p.m. Free. http://www.ocbeachlights.com/
    Every Night thru Sept. 3 / Ocean City’s 100 Nights of Lights, North Division St. & the Boardwalk. Lasers, lights, and music, including an electronic five-story-tall beach ball. Free. From 9 – 11 p.m. with lighting effects changing every 20 minutes. http://ocbeachlights.com/
    Aug. 5 (Sat.) / 9th Annual Berlin Peach Festival at the Calvin B. Taylor House, Main St., Berlin, Md. A community festival featuring pie-baking and pie-eating contests, plus music, craft demonstrations, games, and vendors of handcrafted items and food. Admission: free. Times: Fri. and Sat., 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.; Sun. 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. Tickets: three-day wristband, $10; students (with I.D.) & seniors, $8; S.U. students (with I.D.), Ward Museum members, and children under 12, free.     Aug. 21 (Mon.) / View the Solar Eclipse at the NASA Wallops Visitor Center, Building J20, Route 175, Chincoteague Rd., Wallops Island, VA. Come to the NASA Wallops Visitor Center to view the eclipse safely with special eclipse glasses. At the NASA location, the maximum eclipse will occur when the moon covers 81.5 percent the sun’s disk at 2:46 p.m. Program times: 12 noon – 4:30 p.m. Free.     Aug. 27 (Sun.) / Americana Music Series: Bluegrass, Country, Brew & BBQ at Furnace Town, 3816 Old Furnace Rd., Snow Hill, Md. Musicians Dan Caton, Keagan Justice, Mickey Justice, Jon Simmons, and Todd Smith cross genres of Western Swing, Swing standards, blues, and more.
