March Brings Springtime Fun!!!
Head outdoors for St. Patrick’s Day and Easter parades. Learn to juggle at the Ringling Bros. circus. Enjoy great entertainment and gourmet desserts at Wor-Wic’s Dessert Theater. Here are some of March’s top events in and around Salisbury, Md.
|March 5 thru 8 (Thurs. – Sun.) / Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus presents “Built to Amaze.” Seven performances at the Wicomico Youth and Civic Center. The show’s theme explores how the circus takes shape and includes scenes where “colorful circus machinery” emerges from shipping crates. Animals, clowns, aerial performers, and more––plus an all-access pre-show where audience members can step into the arena, try on circus costumes, and learn to juggle in Clown Alley. |March 7 (Sat.) / “First Saturday” Launch Party, Headquarters Live, 115 S. Division St. (in the former downtown firehouse). Performers include Lewis & Clark, Chris English, and The Larks. |March 14 (Sat.) / Ocean City St. Patrick’s Day Parade. Join the crowds and “go green” the Irish way. Parade begins at noon and moves south along Coastal Highway from 60th to 45th St. Also enjoy an Irish-American festival featuring live Irish music and dancing, Irish apparel, face painting, and food and drink.
