The crazy thing is the market really hasn’t changed that much and just because of what you hear on the national media doesn’t mean that’s what pertains here to the local media and to the local market. 
There is noise and actual news 
So from a buying perspective, yes, rates have gone up, but they’re still way under what traditionally has been what rates are. The first house I bought was 9%, we’re still seeing rates under the fives from a selling perspective. 
A lot of people wonder if they’ve missed the boat – not necessarily because inventory is still low. 
So the reality of it is, when it comes to buying and selling a house, it’s very specific to your situation. A lot of people get caught up in what’s going on in the market, or they try to time the market. And here’s the thing, in any market depending on your situation it could be a good time to buy or sell 
So a lot of it is your price range, where you’re located, what your specific situation is. It may be a great time for you to buy or sell, you just don’t have the right information.
