Enjoy Quiet Fire’s rich repertoire of R&B, funk, Motown, jazz, blues, and classic hits. May 3 (Sat.) / Salisbury Zoo Stampede 5k Run / Walk. The race kicks off from the Salisbury Zoo’s East Gate (across from the Elks Golf Club) and continues through the Zoo and along the Salisbury City Park’s greenway. This year’s event is themed for the zoo’s bison, and a portion of the proceeds from the event will benefit their exhibit. Let your imagination run wild and dress in your favorite animal costume. Runners with the most creative costume will receive a prize. New pricing structure: Adults, $25; children 12 and under, $15; zoo members, $5 discount. (Small fees added to all registration costs.)
