  Live Performances and Events at the Wicomico Youth and Civic Center 500 Glen Ave., Salisbury.   Feb 8 (Thurs.) / Delmarva Shorebirds Hot Stove Banquet featuring keynote address by Ben McDonald. This event (which includes dinner) benefits the Fly Together Fund, the Shorebirds’ charitable organization which aids and supports the Delmarva community. Times: Doors open at 6:00 p.m. From 6:15 to 7:00 p.m., guests will have the opportunity to meet Ben McDonald. Attendees will also have the chance to bid in a silent auction on sports memorabilia from major-league and minor-league franchises. Proceeds from the auction will benefit the Fly Together Fund. Buyers: Admission is $3 per person; children under 12 will be admitted free if accompanied by an adult. Sellers: Table and booth space must be reserved in advance. Reservations can be made at the Wicomico Civic Center box office (Monday – Friday, 9 a.m. – 6 p.m.) or by phone at 410-548-4911. Table and booth sales close on Friday, Feb. 9, at noon.   Feb 11 (Sun.) / Brunch with Everett Spells. Join singer and saxophonist Everett Spells for a morning of Motown, jazz, popular music, and brunch. The all-you-can-eat brunch will be open for the entirety of the show and will include fresh fruit, pastries, garden salad, chicken creole, Cajun roasted potatoes, baked praline French toast, bacon, sausage, scrambled eggs, orange juice, iced tea, and coffee. Time: 10:30 a.m. – noon. Tickets: $40. Note: Ticket sales close on Thurs, Feb. 8, at 4 p.m.   Feb 17 (Sat.) / Bingomania. Admission to Bingomania includes all regular and special games, including the Jumbo Jackpot Game. (Early-bird games cost extra.) Regular game payouts are $500, while special games will pay out $1,000. The Jumbo Jackpot Game pays a maximum of $10,000, depending upon attendance. Attendees must be 16 or older. Times: Doors open at 5 p.m.; early-bird games begin at 6 p.m.; regular games begin at 7 p.m. Tickets: $50 in advance; $60 at the door.   Feb. 24 (Sat.) / Best Kept Soul dinner and show. Hailing from Delaware with roots in New York, Philadelphia, and Baltimore, Best Kept Soul is well versed in numerous genres of music including R&B, gospel, jazz, funk, hip-hop, and rock. Times: Dinner from 6:30 – 7:30; show follows. Tickets: $55. Ticket sales close Wednesday, Feb. 21 at 4 p.m. Dinner will include smothered chicken, braised Swiss steak, mashed potatoes, smoky collard greens, salad, fresh rolls and corn muffins, dessert table, iced tea, and coffee.

The Shore’s best singers compete for $2,000 in cash prizes in a multi-week competition. Registration is free and only requires attendance on one registration date. Hosted by Moon Beam Entertainment.
