Jan. 21 & 22 (Fri. & Sat.) / Lone Star Championship Rodeo at the Wicomico Civic Center, 500 Glen Ave., Salisbury. Events include bronc riding, calf roping, steer wrestling, and barrel racing. Special attractions include rodeo clown Greek Ellick, Jr., fancy trick roper and gunslinger Lindsey Wentworth, best-dressed cowboy and cowgirl contests, and the kids’ gold rush (ages 10 & under). Time: 7:30 p.m. Tickets: $25 for VIP reserved lower-level seating, $20 for general-admission adult, and $15 for general-admission children (ages 12 & under). New this year, Quad Wars: New York Raiders vs. Delmarva Shoremen in an open-rules, anything-goes match. Plus kids’ Power Wheels race and other activities. Feb. 4 (Fri.) / Kendl’s “Magic of One” dinner show at the Wicomico Civic Center, 500 Glen Ave., Salisbury. Krendl’s stand-up-comedy magic show delivers serious magic with a twist of mischief. The dinner menu will include roasted baron of beef, fried chicken, macaroni and cheese, smashed potatoes and gravy, string beans with sautéed mushrooms, salad, dessert, coffee, and iced tea. Alcoholic beverages will be available for purchase.
