May 15 (Sun.) / Ocean City Bridal Show at Seacrets, 49th St. and the bay. “Everything a bride needs to get married in Ocean City or elsewhere on Delmarva.” Sandals Bridal Shop of Ocean City will be displaying wedding gowns, bridesmaids’ dresses, and formal wear for the groom on the main stage at Morley Hall. Each bride will receive  a gift bag and the opportunity to win prizes from beach-area wedding vendors and venues. Food and cake samples will be available, and the Seacrets bar will be open for guests to enjoy tropical cocktails. May 28 (Sat.) / Hoops on the Avenue Family Festival at the Wicomico Civic Center, 500 Civic Ave., Salisbury.  Hoops on the Ave., presented by Pohanka of Salisbury, is an outdoor family-friendly festival celebrating the culture surrounding the sport of basketball. Kick off the summer on Memorial Day weekend at this free event featuring 3v3 basketball tournaments, music, arts, sneakers, food and a kids area. May 30 (Mon.) / Memorial Day Ceremony at the Wicomico Civic Center, 500 Glen Ave., Salisbury. The ceremony will honor all Wicomico County veterans who died in the line of duty. Time: 10 a.m. Admission: Free. All are welcome and encouraged to attend.
