May 5 (Sun.) / Poplar Hill Mansion Festival, 117 Elizabeth Street, Salisbury. The day long festival will include War of 1812 re-enactors, live music, the Dover Country Dancers, educational displays, a children’s activity area with crafts and games, Community Curator’s Tent, and a May Pole to celebrate May Day. There will also be a Market Square with vendors selling handcrafted items on the street in front of the mansion. Tours of Poplar Hill Mansion will also be available throughout the day, and volunteers will be wearing period dress. Time: Noon – 5 p.m. Admission: free.
