Continuous (Wednesdays in Oct.) / “Wing Watch” birdwatching for families and children at the Ward Museum of Wildfowl Art, 909 South Schumaker Drive, Salisbury.Join Ward Museum staff and local birders as they conduct a bird walk around Schumaker Pond. No experience is necessary, and binoculars will be provided. Meet in the lobby of the museum. Time: 9 a.m. – 10 a.m. Free.

Oct. 14 & 15 (Fri. & Sat.) / Good Beer Festival at Pemberton Historical Park, 5561 Plantation Lane, Salisbury. Unlimited tasting of craft brews, plus music, games, crafts and Eastern Shore food. Times: Fri., 5 – 10 p.m.; Sat., noon – 5 p.m. Tickets: Early-bird tasting tickets (available through Friday, Oct. 7, at 5 p.m.), $30; regular tasting tickets: $40; VIP tickets (limit of 200): $55; non-tasting tickets: $10. Note: The festival is not intended for children. Kids ages 3 and up must have a non-tasting ticket to attend. The festival is a rain or shine event. No refunds or exchanges.
👻 Oct. 15 & 22 (Saturdays) / Halloween Happening at the Salisbury Zoo. Halloween themed activities for children 10 and under. Children will be able to trick-or-treat throughout the Zoo, participate in Halloween games, and learn about animals. Plus, the whole family can compete in a costume contest. Time: 1 – 4 p.m. Tickets: $10 per child (if pre-purchased; $12 at the door). Child’s ticket comes with one free adult ticket. Additional adult tickets are $2.
Oct. 19 (Wed.)  / Chicago, the Broadway musical, at the Ocean City Performing Arts Center, 4001 Coastal Highway. Time: 7 p.m. Tickets: $65 – $85.
Oct. 20 (Thurs.) / Live Figure Drawing at Salisbury Art Space, 212 W. Main St., Suite 101. Ages 16+. Learn to draw from observation; practice drawing techniques. For all skill levels. Beginners will learn basic techniques while more advanced participants can use class time to work with a live model. The instructor will provide constructive feedback to help participants get the most from the class. Time: 6 – 8 p.m. Cost: $20.
Oct. 20 – 23 (Thurs. – Sun.) / Ocean City Sunfest at the south end of the boardwalk. Arts, crafts, food, and free concerts on two outdoor stages. Admission: free. Times: Thurs, Fri., and Sat., 10 a.m. – 7 p.m.; Sun., 10 a.m. – 6 p.m.
Oct. 21 (Fri.)  / Third Friday, Downtown Salisbury.Enjoy vendors, art, food, and live music from 5 p..m. – 8 p.m. This month’s theme is “Super Heroes.”
Oct. 21 (Fri.)  / Artrageous, the Interactive Art and Musical Experience, at the Ocean City Performing Arts Center, 4001 Coastal Highway. Time: 6 p.m. Tickets: $25 – $35.
👻 Oct. 23 (Sun.)  / Fall Festival and Trunk-or-Treat at Pemberton Park, Salisbury. Time: 4 – 8 p.m. Families are invited to come in costume ready to trunk-or-treat. This free event features a vendor fair, petting zoo, pony rides, bounce house, hay maze, pumpkin patch, photo ops, music, games, and food trucks.
👻 Oct. 28 (Sun.)  / Halloween Party at Poplar Hill Mansion, 117 Elizabeth St., Salisbury. Spend Halloween weekend in a real haunted house. See the mansion fully decorated in creepy elegance, and take part in activities throughout the night, including dancing (the Halloween Limbo), games, and storytelling from Andy Nunez, paranormal expert and author of the Ghosts of the Eastern Shore series. Prize for best costume. Suggested donation of $5.00 per person at the door. No RSVP required. Adult audience only. For ages +18 and over. Time: 7 p.m.

Oct. 29 (Sat.) / Shore Craft Beer Fest: OCtoberfest, Sunset Park, 700 S. Philadelphia Ave., Ocean City. Unlimited samples of local craft beer; live music, food trucks, vendors, games, and more. This is a pet-friendly event with fun for the entire family. Time: 1:30 – 4:30 p.m. Tickets: general admission, $40; VIP admission, $65. (VIP guests may enter at 12:30 p.m.)
