Jan. 19 & 20 (Sat. & Sun.) / Delmarva Art Expo at the Ocean City Convention Center, 4001 Coastal Highway. Times: Sat., 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.; Sun., 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. Tickets: $3 per day or $5 for the weekend. Art classes available. Classes cost: $20 – $40.

Jan. 21 (Mon.) / Martin Luther King, Jr., Celebrations at the Wicomico Civic Center, Salisbury. Enjoy the annual MLK breakfast and Youth Activity from 8:30 a.m. to noon. Event includes free breakfast plus youth speakers, choirs, and dancers. Attendees to the Youth Activity are asked to bring canned goods for the Maryland Food Bank. Jan. 25 & 26 (Fri. & Sat.) / Lone Star Championship Rodeo at the Wicomico Civic Center, Salisbury. Events include bareback riding, saddle bronc riding, tie-down roping, cowgirls’ breakaway roping, steer wrestling, team roping, cowgirls’ barrel racing, and bull riding. Prior to the competition, boys and girls ages 10 and under are invited to the arena floor to take part in the Best Dressed Cowboy/Cowgirl Contest and Kids’ Gold Rush. The rodeo is co-sanctioned by the American Professional Rodeo Association and features professional and amateur cowboys and cowgirls from around the region.
