 Fireworks celebrations, concerts, and the WWE highlight July’s activities.

Sundays in July / The Salisbury Community Band in concert at the bandstand in Salisburys City Park.  7 p.m. Free. Bring chairs, and enjoy a musical tradition that dates to the late 1930’s.
Sundays through Labor Day weekend / Ocean City Beach Lights, N. Division & the Boardwalk. Lasers, lights, fireworks, and music, including an electronic five-story-tall beach ball. Times: 9:30, 10:00, and 10:30 p.m. Free.
July 4 (Mon.) / Red, White, and Boom fireworks at the Wi-Hi Stadium, directly across from the Wicomico County Youth and Civic Center, Salisbury. Food vendors and children’s bounce houses will open at 6:30 p.m. A kids’ kazoo parade will begin at 8 p.m. Fireworks will begin at 9:15 p.m. Spectators may bring lawn chairs and blankets if they wish. Free admission; free parking in the Civic Center lot. (Rain date is July 5.)
July 4 (Mon.) / Free concert & fireworks at the beach, Northside Park, 125th St., Ocean City. Concert by The Janitors begins at 8 p.m. Fireworks start at 9:30. 800-626-2326.
July 4 – 11 (Mon. – Mon.) / Hebron Firemens Carnival. Rides, food, and family fun, including the carnival’s famous oyster sandwiches. Kitchen opens at 6:30 p.m.; rides begin operation at 7:15 p.m. July 4th hours: 5 – 9 p.m. with fireworks at 9:30. Hebron Camp Grounds. Wrist bands for unlimited rides are $14. July 8 – 10 (Fri. – Sun.) / Ocean City Tuna Tournament. Watch more than 100 boats weigh-in their tuna catches in hopes of winning over $500,000 in cash.  Weigh-ins take place on Fri., Sat., & Sun. from 4:00 – 7:30 p.m.  Free to spectators.  $900 entry fee for participants.  For more information, contact Jennifer Blunt at
July 15 (Fri.) / Bathtub Races and Parade, downtown, Berlin, Md.  6 – 8 p.m. Good, clean fun for spectators and participants. Watch wackiness for free. To participate, contact the Berlin Chamber of Commerce at (410) 641-4775. (Entry fees apply.)
July 15 (Fri.) / Salisburys Third-Friday Celebration on the Plaza. Vendors, food, and live music by The Benchwarmers. This month’s theme is “Wild Card.” Anything goes. Enjoy street performers and magicians, and wear a crazy costume if you like. 5 – 8 p.m.
July 16 (Sat.) / The Cherry Poppin Daddies perform the music of the Rat Pack at the Freeman Stage, 31750 Lake View Drive, Selbyville, Del. 7 p.m. Tickets: $25. July 16 (Sat.) / Ride for Awareness and Poker Run. Benefits Women Supporting Women, which serves those on Delmarva with breast cancer. Ride begins and ends at the Texas Roadhouse, 107 E. Cedar Lane, Fruitland. Registration opens at 9 a.m. Last bike out at 11 a.m. Return by 2 p.m. Drivers, $20. Passengers, $10. Info:
July 23 (Sat.) / WWE Live Summer-Slam Heat-Wave Tour. Dean Andrews vs. Seth Rollins, plus  A. J. Styles, Bray Wyatt, Kofi Kingston, Xavier, the Usos, Luke Gallows, Karl Anderson, Becky Lynch, and more. 7:30 p.m. Tickets: $15 – $100. Box office: 410-548-9191.
