    Nov. 17 – Jan. 1 / (weekends) Winterfest of Lights at Ocean City’s Northside Park. Sip hot chocolate in the heated Winterfest Village pavilion, take a photo with Santa, and board the Winterfest Express tram to tour fairy-tale-themed exhibits. The one-mile journey travels past hundreds of animated lighted displays and a 50-foot Christmas tree.     Nov. 24 (Thanksgiving Day) / Annual Turkey Trek 5-k Run at Pemberton Historical Park, 5561 Plantation Lane, Salisbury. Run through Pemberton Park’s forests, meadows, and wetlands. (The course is mostly flat, with one or two small hills.) Refreshments and Thanksgiving pie will be available after the race. On-site registration: 7:30 – 8:00 a.m.; pre-registered runners’ check-in: 8:00 – 8:30 a.m. Race begins at 9:00 a.m. Fees: early registration, $25 (avail. through Nov. 21st); on-site registration, $30.     Nov. 26 (Sat.) / Salisburys Winter Wonderland of Lights lighting ceremony, 5 p.m. in Salisbury City Park, 521 S. Park Drive.     Nov. 26 (Sat.) / Christmas Boat Parade presented by the Wicomico Yacht Club. View festively decorated boats along the Wicomico River at any location from Wicomico Creek to downtown Salisbury. Begins at about 6 p.m. Ends at about 10 p.m.
    Nov. 29 (Tues.) / Broadway Christmas Wonderland: The Holiday Show at the Wicomico Youth and Civic Center.
