Halloween Happenings, Beer and Wine Festivals, and The Price Is Right Live Make October Special.

Oct. 1 (Sat.) / All-You-Can-Eat Crab Feast, Main Street, Berlin, Md.; featuring music by Funk Shue’. Noon – 5 p.m. Tickets: $38. (Rain date: Oct. 2) Sponsored by Berlin Chamber of Commerce. 410-629-1722.
Oct. 1 (Sat.) / Wings & Wheels, Delaware Coastal Airport, Georgetown. Come out and enjoy a day of planes, classic cars, WWII re-enactors, great food, craft vendors, and much more. Admission is free. Begins at 10 a.m. Airplane rides available.
Oct. 6 – 9 (Thurs. – Sun) / Endless Summer Cruisin at the Ocean City Convention Center and inlet. (Convention Center days: Thurs. – Sat. only) View over 2,000 hot rods, customs, and trick trucks. Plus vendors, music, “meet-and-greets,” and collector-car auction. (Auction begins at 9 a.m. Sat. only.) Times for other events vary. Tickets: $10 – $35. Kids under 14 are free when accompanied by adult.
Oct. 7 (Fri.) / Astronaut Richard Arnold II speaks at Wor-Wic Community College. Mr. Arnold will discuss highlights of his career, including taking two space walks and traveling to the international space station aboard the space shuttle Discovery. 7 p.m. at the Guerrieri Hall Auditorium. Oct. 8 & 9 (Sat. & Sun.) / Good Beer Festival at Pemberton Historical Park, 5561 Plantation Lane, Salisbury. Select from more than 80 brands of craft beer, and enjoy live music on two stages. 12:30 – 6:30 p.m. Tickets: tasting, $25 – $40; non-tasting, $5 – $10. 410-548-4911.
Oct. 12 (Wed.) / Sesame Street Live: Elmo Makes Music at the Wicomico County Youth and Civic Center. When a music teacher’s instruments disappear, Elmo, Abby Cadabby, Big Bird, and others come to the rescue, discovering instruments that they never knew existed. Children learn that everyone can make and enjoy beautiful music together. Performances at 10:30 a.m and 6:30 p.m. Tickets: $15 – $68. 410-548-4911.
Oct. 15 & 16 (Sat. & Sun. ) / Autumn Wine Festival at Pemberton Historical Park, 5561 Plantation Lane, Salisbury. Enjoy Maryland wines, delicious food, and live music. Sponsored by the Maryland Wineries Association. 11 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Tickets: tasting, $25 – $40; non-tasting, $5 – $10.
Oct. 16 (Sun.) / The Price Is Right Live at the Wicomico County Youth and Civic Center. Come on down for a chance to win appliances, vacations, and possibly a new car! Play classic games such as Plinko™, Cliffhangers™, The Big Wheel™, and even the fabulous Showcase. 7 p.m. Tickets: $33.50 – $65.00 Note: To register for chance to be a contestant, visit the registration area at or near the venue box office three hours prior to show time. Oct. 20 – 23 (Thurs. – Sun.) / I Love You, Youre Perfect, Now Change, a musical about dating, romance, marriage, and in-laws. Salisbury University’s Guerrieri Academic Commons (assembly hall). 8 p.m. (2 p.m. on Sun.) Tickets: adults, $12; seniors (62+), S.U. alumni, and all students, $9. 410-543-6228.
Oct. 22 (Sat.) / O.C.Toberfest Howl-o-Ween Pet Parade. Prizes and surprises for the best-dressed pets and people. Parade proceeds along the boardwalk, beginning at N. Division Street. Registration at 12 noon; parade at 1 p.m. To participate, bring a donation of pet food or another pet-friendly item for the Humane Society. 410-798-6304.
Oct. 22, 23, 29, & 30 (Saturdays & Sundays) / O.C.Toberfest Beach Maze. Lose yourself in the giant maze constructed on the sand near N. Division Street in Ocean City.
