Shore Spotlight: Wrights Market and The Watermelon Festival

A special "thank you" to Michelle Wright and Wrights Market for their participation with our "Shore Spotlight" series – where we highlight businesses andorganizations in the community that also have a great impact on and give back to their community! We also greatly appreciate all of Wrights Markets' efforts and help with community projects! Not only do we touch on Wrights Market and its history in this video, we also encourage everyone to come to their 16th Annual Watermelon Festival , on July 28th, at The Market from 10AM – 4PM. From games, to fire truck rides, a Miss Watermelon Princess Contest, BBQ Chicken from the VFW, Hamburgers and hotdogs from the Delmar Lions Club , drinks and Snow cones from the Relay for Life team to raise money for the Cancer Society – you don't want to miss this family friendly event! Each year, Wrights Market supports a local charity thru the Watermelon Fest, and they have chosen to cover our, "Home for a Hero" project (affiliated with The MD and DE Group, Greater Salisbury Committee and Operation We Care! To elaborate on "Home for a Hero" – we have chosen a deserving Veteran in which we will be providing with a home, lot and mortgage free!
