The Maryland & Delaware Group of Long & Foster Moves to a Larger Location, Offers New Services

SALISBURY, MD.—Home buyers and sellers who need help finding a mortgage, sprucing up a home, or even hiring a moving company can now find all of those services located within the new Salisbury offices of The Maryland and Delaware Group of Long & Foster. Brandon Brittingham, leader of the group, explained that he and his teammates wanted to help clients overcome some of the distracting problems that sometimes occur in the course of a transaction. The team’s solution was to create, or affiliate with, supporting companies that could offer mortgages, remodel and restore homes, install new heating systems, repair plumbing, and even provide moving and storage solutions.

Mr. Brittingham’s second goal was to locate all of these businesses in a single, convenient location—one large enough to also house his growing team of real estate agents. Not surprisingly, the real estate team quickly found an attractive office-and-warehouse complex that answered all of the businesses’ needs. The spacious facility is located just north of Ace Hardware, at 107 Williamsport Circle in Salisbury.

Offering a tour of his new headquarters, Mr. Brittingham pointed out many surprising features, including climate-controlled storage areas within the warehouse; a secure bay of clients’ furniture awaiting transfer by his moving company, Always Moving; and a soon-to-be showroom where the remodeling business will display kitchen cabinetry, countertops, and appliances. Within the complex’s office corridors, Brittingham noted a construction office, a suite of rooms occupied by Long & Foster Property Management Co. (which he manages), and adjacent areas for Prosperity Mortgage and a title company. Realtors, meanwhile, occupy several spaces, all just steps away from two conference rooms.

Concluding the tour, Brittingham restated his motivation for moving to a facility that could comfortably house all of his enterprises: “All of our companies are growing, and we just thought we could serve clients better by creating and developing our own ecosystem and having everything in one spot. Here, people can walk in, and we can respond efficiently to all their needs.”
