Salisbury Symphony Orchestra Highlight Events in March across Delmarva.

March 5 (Tues.) / The Chieftans in concert at the Ocean City Performing Arts Center, 4001 Coastal Highway, Ocean City. Irish music from the winners of six Grammy Awards. 7:30 p.m. Tickets: $49 – $75.
March 7, 14, 28 (Thursdays) / Beginner Robotics Club at the Wicomico Free Library, downtown Salisbury. Learn to build and program basic Lego Mindstorm robots. Time: 10:30 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. For ages 10 and up. Free.
March 8 – 10 (Fri. – Sun.) / Home, Condo, and Outdoor Show, Ocean City Convention Center, 4001 Coastal Hwy. See the latest innovations for your house or condo. Talk with builders, remodelers, kitchen and bath specialists, landscapers, decorators, arts and crafts exhibitors, and others. Times: Friday, 11 a.m. – 5 p.m.; Sat., 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.; Sun., 10:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. Admission: Adults, $7; seniors (55+) & students (14 – 22), $6; children 13 and under & military, police, and fire fighters (with I.D.), free. March 8 – 10 (Fri. – Sun.) / Ocean City Film Festival showcases the varied works of regional and international filmmakers. Venues include the Fox Gold Coast Theater, the Clarion Resort, the Princess Royale Hotel, the Carousel Hotel, the Francis Scott Key Family Resort, and Seacrets. Tickets: $20 for a one-day film pass; $49 for a three-day film pass; $79 for an all-access pass, which includes all films and workshops, an opening-day party, and attendance at the closing awards ceremony. March 9 (Sat.) / Delmarva Kids Expo at the Wicomico Youth and Civic Center, Salisbury. Mom and Dad can meet vendors of family-friendly products and services while kids enjoy games, bouncing, and interactive demonstrations. Exhibitors offer day care, summer camps, insurance, financial and college planning, pediatrics, dentistry, sports and recreation, martial arts, and more. 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. Tickets: Adults, $5; children, $2; children under two, free.
March 9 (Sat.) / Salisbury Symphony Orchestra presents “On the Double” featuring pianist Rochelle Sennet and violinist Igor Kalnin. 7:30 p.m. at Salisbury University’s Holloway Hall. March 14 (Thurs.) / The Harlem Globetrotters at the Wicomico Youth and Civic Center, Salisbury. Enjoy basketball wizardry and get free autographs after the game. 7 p.m. Tickets: $18 – $75.

March 16 (Sat.) / St. Patrick’s Day Parade, Ocean City. The parade begins at noon and travels south on Coastal Highway from 57th St. to 45th St. Also enjoy an Irish-American festival at the 45th Street Center from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. Purchase food, drinks, and Irish apparel; and enjoy live entertainment by Pat O’Brennan and the Shoreline Band. Admission to the parade and festival is free. Note: WRDE-TV will broadcast the parade live beginning at 11:30 a.m.
March 16 (Sat.) / St. Patrick’s Day Boardwalk 5K Run, Ocean City. The race starts at 9 a.m. at 4th St., directly behind Shenanigan’s Irish Pub. Post-race celebration at Shenanigan’s. Fee: $30. For info. and to register online:
March 19 (Tues.) / Finding Neverland at the Wicomico Youth & Civic Center, Salisbury. Based on the popular film, this award-winning Broadway musical explores the creation of Peter Pan by its author, J. M. Barrie. 7:30 p.m. Tickets: $25 – $72.
