Fruitland, Maryland is located on the lower portion of the Eastern Shore, approximately 30 minutes from The Chesapeake Bay and Ocean City, MD. On a larger scale, it is approximately 2 hours from Baltimore, MD, and Norfolk, VA.
Fruitland is a town known for its strong emphasis on the values of community and family. The area is very small, which allows for easy access to markets, excellent school systems , responsive government,  and it’s stupendous recreations
Fruitland Parks and RecreationÂ
Fruitland contains a  38-acre recreational  and sports park on South Brown Street and South Division Street comprised of the Recreational Park ( 27 acres) and the Park Annex (11 acres). Fruitland’s recreational sites allow for a wide variety of sports, and additionally offer fitness trails for a great family activity. It also contains many playgrounds for children. Fruitland schools offer great education ranging from Pre- K – 12th grade. It currently has two county schools including Fruitland Primary and Fruitland Intermediate. Future plans consist of constructing a new Bennett Middle School on South Division Street in Fruitland. To learn more click here

Wicomico Youth and Civic Center
Wicomico Youth and Civic Center is a great place to attend concerts, sporting events, meetings, and receptions. The WY&CC hosts over 400 events, draws over 200,000 attendees and Encore Catering that serves over an estimate 20,000 plates. To learn more click here
